Onezoom is an interactive website with the goal of creating the most complete tree of life in a highly accessable format. A site visitor can either zoom into the tree, which spirals in like a fractal, and can note the evolutionary relationships of the species - each represented by a "leaf" on the tree. Alternatively, there is a search option, which can be used to find a certain species by either its scientific or common name, or to search for higher phylogenetic groups. Lastly, there is a trace option, which works similarlly to the search option, but also traces a line from the base of the tree along the path to the desired search term.

The site is nonprofit and is funded primarily by donations and sponsorhips by purchasing a species' "leaf," similar to purchasing a street or a star, from which the sponsorer's name is displayed.
