The presented material is a full-semester, online course related to the area of wireless sensor networks. This content was developed by a multi-institution, NSF-sponsored collaboration called MUSE (for multi-university systems education. The content utilizes the application space of wireless sensor networks to integrate sub-discipline electrical engineering content as a way of enabling students to envision the architectures of complex, multi-layered engineering systems. The content is modular so that portions of the content can be utilize to augment/enhance existing junior-level courses in electrical engineering.
