This resource is a "free and easy way for teachers to open up their classroom. Meet new people, talk to experts, share ideas and create amazing learning experiences with teachers from around the world." In celebration of World Teacher’s Day on Oct. 5, Skype in the classroom—the education outreach program of Skype, the Microsoft-owned service for making free voice and video calls online—has announced new partnerships with NASA and seven other organizations. What an exciting way to connect classrooms from across the globe in meaningful collaborative communities of learners!  Although the search and navigation features could offer more options in terms of categorizing the classroom collaboration opportunities, there seems to be a wealth of requests for lessons for K-12 teachers in a variety of disciplines.
