As a comprehensive text for a Social Problems course this OER book is a significant asset. The text covers the foundational topics of most social problems textbooks and courses, such as definitions and theories. Having a resource that does this for no cost to students is great. It is, however, somewhat out of date and many of the links are dead. In this form it is a pdf without links to sections, so it is somewhat limited in how user friendly it can be.
