This is a demonstration of the Lorenz strange attractor. Starting points can be ?clicked in? with the mouse. The applet then plots the path of a particle with this starting position as it moves towards the attractor. This can be used to demonstrate how quickly particles move towards the attractor.

Technical Remarks:

Runs fine in WIN98 and Explorer.
