First, the 3 basic principles in Western music are summarized. Then, they are graphically represented in a completely logical way. A new representation of notes, chords and keys is thus obtained, which is called Harmonic Wheel. This representation provides a complete and panoramic view of all relationships among the keys, not only those included in the traditional cycle of fifths, but also those involving the relative and parallel keys. This is the so-called Map of the Keys. Additionally, a Chord Finder is implemented for the Major and minor scales (natural, harmonic and melodic).
