In my quick scan of the text I found typos, omissions, and errors, e.g., section 8.1 "In 1896, John Dewey open his first progressive laboratory in Massachusetts. " this is an error Dewey's lab school was at the University of Chicago, while Catherine Beecher was mentioned as a force in recruiting female teacher, no reference to normal schools was made.
