This video explains the main concepts of human rights, such as universality, and examines the emergence of modern human rights from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

The session on Fundamentals of Human Rights is one of the 13 sessions of an e-learning course on Human Rights in Southeast Asia produced by ASEAN University Network - Human Rights Education (AUN-HRE) and sponsored by the ASEAN Cyber University (ACU) and the Republic of Korea.   

The e-learning course is based on the textbooks developed and produced by the ASEAN University Network - Human Rights Education (AUN-HRE) as part of the Strengthening Human Rights and Peace Research and Education in ASEAN / Southeast Asia (SHAPE-SEA).
