This concise introduction to Backward Design delivers a user-friendly roadmap for instructors who want to improve their course effectiveness. Whether teaching online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses, instructors will find valuable guidance and tools for course improvement. In only five pages, the book delivers essential tips that are supported by multiple links to materials and additional resources. Several interactive Q&A sessions allow readers to generate customized, downloadable documents that they can use to guide their course design. One common shortcoming of most online books is the lack of navigational buttons at the bottom of each page, and this book could benefit from such navigation. Other than that minor navigational deficiency, this book provides a quality resource for implementing Bacward Design into curriculum.
