OpenCourseware is an electronic publishing project that consists of putting university teaching materials on the network, in open access.The UCA is a member of the OpenCourseWare Consortium and has assumed the commitment to participate with open didactic resources, promoting that teachers who wish to make visible the materials used to teach their subjects; this offers other teachers, students or professionals from anywhere in the world free access to free knowledge.With the open offer of teaching materials created and used by teachers, very often also as a direct reflection of their research tasks, the UCA advocates an open university, reinforcing its internationalization and promoting the transfer of knowledge to society. From this global approach, the UCA wants to support and encourage teachers who want to participate, offering advice and technical help in the preparation of materials, coordinated by the Vice-Rectorate for Digitalization and Infrastructures.
