Subject: Highlight the Load-shedding problem and ICT education.
Dear Sir,
I am Rehana, a member of local community union. I shall be grateful if you are kind enough to allow me a little space in the columns of your famous daily to lodge a protest against the regular load shedding problem faced by ICT education.
In the twentieth century, ICT has become very important in the field of education. ICT is one of the most important necessities of human life, due to which every human life is incomplete and because of this no human being can complete the path of development in the present.
ICT is the backbone of development in the field of education. The education system is incomplete due to ICT. Because this education system is capable of solving the educational problems of teachers and students. Because all the work of teachers and students, whether it is a project, assignment or presentation, depends on ICT.
The ICT biggest problem is load shedding. As Pakistan is facing load shedding and according to the official statement, there is a schedule of load shedding of about 6 to 7 hours in different urban areas and 8 to 9 hours in rural areas across the country.
ICT is difficult to implement, because power outages can damage expensive ICT resources, as a stable and uninterrupted power supply is essential for the proper functioning of computers and other high-tech devices.
As a result, teachers are unable to prepare timely reports and lesson plans, and students are unable to prepare homework or class work, assignments and presentations in a timely manner, which can lead to wastage of their standard and most important academic time.
Therefore, I urge through your newspaper the government from time to time to minimize the duration of load shedding and ensure the safety of standard hours for students and teachers.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
REHANA
