This project is the result of a grant provided to faculty at Clayton State and involved digitizing and updating a textbook for English Composition.

Because Dr. Lamb created a custom textbook for our First-Year Writing Program over ten years ago, we had a solid foundation to work with. We have always offered the textbook as a print text, so our transformation process included digitizing the print version while updating content for English 1101 and reorganizing the text to reflect updates to the program. During the summer of 2021 we were able to digitize our print text, update programmatic information, and restructure the text to make it more user friendly. By fall 2021, we were able to offer the text as a PDF, which was loaded into D2L for every section of English 1101 prior to the first day of class. Every instructor and student had access to the text from the first day of the semester.
