YouTube is an online video sharing and social media platform owned by Alphabet, Inc. As the world's second most visited website, general knowledge of YouTube's organizational structure is common. However, YouTube’s emphasis on organizing content through playlists is less understood.  To better understand the integral nature of playlists to YouTube’s organizational structure, research was conducted and shared in the included presentation. The authors sought the following learning outcomes: 1) that users would become familiar with uploading content and creating videos within YouTube Studio, 2) that users would become familiar with creating playlists from existing content available on YouTube, and 3) that users would be able to compare & contrast these methods for optimizing their own YouTube experience.  Learning outcomes are supported by the use of audience polling, team-created prerecorded walkthroughs, live technology experimentation, and allowed time for audience questions.
