Side Hustle is the first showcase project in a first course in Engineering and Design. Students create a consumer product using the iterative design process from the  concept to prototype and presentations stage. The exercise is written as a project-based learning unit. Teachers are required to determine appropriate deliverables, assessment criteria, and/or rubrics depending on their individual programs.
