We first conceived this project in 2019.  We were excited by the prospect of creating and sharing Statistics resources that would help to engage community college students with applications relating to their own life experiences. 

Our focus would be problems relating to equity and social justice.  We planned to foreground issues that disproportionately affect poor and working-class students and under-represented groups.  Those included education, health and race, ethnic, and gender discrimination.
