From the USC Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute, this short video provides a visual of an fMRI. "Using our innovative visualization techniques, we created 3D visualizations depicting the changes in brain activity measured by fMRI. We then zoom down to the cellular level to illustrate how neurons fire and blood flow increases."
