Open educational resource means educational resources open to all and free of cost. They can be in any form either video, audio, text, graphics etc. These resources can be made by educational institute and individuals to share their knowledge and experience. They are available to all and is the cheapest source of knowledge.

The three open educational resource websites mentioned it in the course are Open Learning Initiative, MIT Open Courseware and Open Learn. These 3 website provide variety of courses in many fields and of different levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced. The first website to start this was MIT Open Courseware in 2002. This course also provides different links of educational courses and write ups, for better understanding of students.
