In this recorded workshop, we will be defining misinformation, and discuss using the technique of lateral reading, that is reading sources about the source you're looking at, to determine whether a it contains misinformation.  We will also consider Michael Caufield's SIFT Method for determining misinformation, and show how lateral reading works within the SIFT model.
