The Chemical Dependency Professional Learning Resources online textbook has been developed for the Behavioral Health program at Whatcom Community College or students taking Chemical Dependency Professional certificate or degree courses.

The Chemical Dependency Professional online textbooks is broken up according to course title and will be listing recommended articles, publications, graphics, videos, and webinars that relate to course topics. One of the main sources for learning resources within this online textbook is the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).  It is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health in our country. Many of the Technical Assistance Publication series and the Treatment Improvement Protocol series are integrated within the textbook.
