This OER teaches users about the basics of speech rate and its importance when giving oral English presentations.

The OER is a phone-based VR application compatible with Android devices. After installing the app on a mobile smartphone, users can use the app with any mobile VR headset, such as the Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear VR, etc.

This OER contains a basic microlearning lesson on speech rate and a follow-up presentation exercise that helps increase users' awareness of their speech rate. The OER also uses speech-to-text to show users their live speech rate, and it provides simple feedback for improvement at the end of the exercise.
