Welcome to Culture and Community Psychology.  This textbook is about culture influences on human behavior and mental processes, including the examination of the diversity on human thought, feelings, and behavior, and the underlying reasons for such diversity.  The text takes an interdisciplinary social science approach to understanding culture, with an emphasis on psychology.  Culture is viewed broadly, including ethnicity and race, economic class, gender, sexual orientation and religion.
