The Echoes Burn Interdisciplinary Framework is an open educational resource (OER) that uses science fiction as a platform for interdisciplinary inquiry across philosophy, artificial intelligence, ethics, systems thinking, strategic studies, psychology, communication, governance, and the sciences. Built around the novel Echoes Burn, the framework combines a substantial philosophical essay, twenty self-contained chapter modules, discipline maps, discussion prompts, bibliographies, and supporting reference material designed for use in higher education, independent study, and professional development contexts. Each module may be used independently or incorporated into existing curricula, allowing educators and learners to engage with complex contemporary issues through narrative-driven case studies and structured interdisciplinary analysis. The framework is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-SA 4.0).
