DNA Workshop

Logo for DNA Workshop
This PBS site provides a concise, interactive presentation that covers DNA replication, transcription and translation. While it does not go into great detail on the various enzymes and leading vs lagging strands, it does present the basic concepts clearly.

A simple site that allows you to demonstrate the concepts of replication, transcription, and translation. Afterwards, students can return to the site and practice themselves.

Use in class every semester.

Technical Remarks:

Requires Shockwave
