Cloning is a process that creates an organism that is an identical genetic copy of another. This informational page provides material on the two ways in which cloning is done: Artificial embryo twinning and somatic cell nuclear transfer. This site also provides information and video clips on how natural reproduction relates and differs from somatic cell nuclear transfer. There are two videos which provide visualization on how each of the two cloning processes work and how they are similar and different. Finally, there are real lab clips on the processes of enucleation and nuclear transfer in motion.
