Annotated Low-Voltage Plan Examples is a free collection of original design scenarios that demonstrates how contractors organize devices, cable routes, infrastructure, schedules, quantities, assumptions, and coordination notes on project drawings.

Each example identifies the building or use case, project objectives, system scope, stakeholders, constraints, drawing decisions, equipment relationships, and information requiring additional verification. Examples include restaurant point-of-sale and network planning, smart-home lighting control, coordinated restaurant low-voltage systems, security-camera coverage, access-control openings, Wi-Fi placement, rack layouts, cable schedules, audio/video signal flow, fiber backbones, and multi-discipline coordination.

The collection helps technicians, estimators, designers, instructors, and students study the reasoning behind a plan rather than merely copying symbols. Examples identify alternatives, coordination conflicts, limitations, and required field, manufacturer, engineering, code, or authority review.
