Students can search an area, compare recorded well depths, inspect construction details, and follow links to original agency records where available. Suggested classroom uses include comparing well depth across geologic settings, discussing uneven public-record coverage, and evaluating the difference between filed observations and modeled groundwater estimates. It is a screening and research resource, not a substitute for a site investigation or an official agency record.
