A ready-to-use lab in which students convert an informal circuit sketch into a schematic, inspect and correct it, run an Electrical Rule Check (ERC), and export the verified result to KiCad.Students practice how to interpret a circuit from informal documentation, compare physical or visual intent with a schematic representation, identify incorrect or ambiguous connectivity, use ERC as a verification tool, distinguish automated output from verified engineering work, and export and inspect a schematic in KiCad.Workflow: inspect the source circuit; compare the generated schematic against it; correct component values, labels, or connections; run ERC and evaluate each finding; export to KiCad; and confirm the handoff preserved the intended circuit. Students submit the required files and verification notes.
