Neruda Archives is an independent, privately funded and freely accessible digital archive based in Czechia. It brings together historical correspondence on everyday life, family relationships, trade and postal history, with documents extending to 1914. The archive continues to grow.

Published records include images of original documents, transcriptions, English translations, descriptive and postal metadata, and information on provenance, reuse and citation. Some records also provide historical context. Readers can compare a transcription and translation directly with the original document and distinguish documentary evidence from interpretation.

Transcriptions and translations are prepared primarily using several artificial intelligence tools and checked against the original images before publication. Errors may remain, and corrections are welcome.
