Material Detail

Neuropsych is a free site of standardised cognitive tasks, in English and Spanish, scored against published normative tables. The tasks are the ones a psychology syllabus already covers: Stroop colour-word, flanker, go/no-go, stop-signal, continuous performance, digit span, n-back, Corsi block-tapping, operation span, trail making A and B, Wisconsin card sorting, Tower of London, reaction time, symbol coding, matrix reasoning, mental rotation, word fluency, lexical decision and a set of numerical cognition tasks. For teaching, an instructor requests a class link, pastes it into the learning platform, and students complete the chosen tasks in a tutorial slot or at home on their own phones or laptops. Every student sees their own scores and percentiles immediately. The instructor receives a class summary: one pseudonymous row per student with scores, percentiles and response-time summaries, as a one-page summary and a CSV, in time for the next session. Every scoring rule and normative table is documented, so a class can audit the scoring. Names and email addresses are never shared with the instructor. Suited to cognitive psychology, research methods and statistics courses.
