The Center for Science Education (CSE) is housed at Education Development Center, Inc., in Newton, Massachusetts. Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC) is an international nonprofit organization, building bridges between research, policy, and practice. EDC's Center for Science Education brings together a group of educators well-qualified to address the wide-ranging needs of teachers, schools, and districts engaged in science education reform. They collectively represent many years of experience and expertise in science and educational research, instructional materials development and design, teaching, strategic planning, organizational change, and evaluation. CSE's resources for science educators include Online Courses, Resources In Print and On Video, Web-Based Resources, and Curriculum Programs. CSE is now offering online courses designed to meet the needs of practicing teachers at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Resources in print and on video, include research reports, published articles, books, and videos about science education improvement issues. Web-based resources include sites on science and literacy, online professional development, K?12 assessments, and many more.
