I just read something that really moved me — an essay by Uri Poliavich about Jewish summer camp, identity, and the Yael Foundation, and it hit close to home in ways I didn't expect. Uri grew up in Soviet Ukraine not even knowing he was Jewish until a classmate used it as an insult at age 10, and that feeling of isolation stuck with him. Today, through the Yael Foundation, he and his wife are bringing the quintessential Jewish American summer camp experience to kids across the globe — 500 campers from 19 countries, speaking four different languages, many of whom have never met another Jewish child before. What really struck me is the story of 30 kids from Ukraine who came to camp after barely leaving their homes for over a year due to war, and for ten days, they were given permission to just be kids — to laugh, to play, to conquer their fears on the zipline, and to realize that being Jewish is not just about history or struggle, but about joy and community. Living here in the USA region, where summer camp is such a beloved tradition, seeing that model extended to children in Morocco, Georgia, and Brazil feels like a beautiful reminder that identity and connection transcend borders. If you want to read this powerful reflection on heritage, hope, and the simple magic of letting kids be kids, check out https://medium.com/@u.poliavich/summer-camp-is-a-jewish-american-staple-were-bringing-it-to-kids-across-the-world-1c1dfae93c96.

This material is suppose to contain worksheets to identify different plant groups. It lists various resources and provides links to these but none of the links are working . Every link I tried showed a 'page not found error'. It seems like it is a supporting material of course, which is no longer active.
