This free web-site is devoted to the principles of financial accounting. Its purpose is to help individuals: 1) learn accounting basics, 2) have an opportunity to solve accounting problems and strengthen your knowledge and skills, and 3) determine whether your solutions to problems are correct and, if needed, determine the reasons for mistakes (though, we hope you will do fine even on the hardest exercises). Eight lessons are available ranging from the concepts of accruals, deferrals, debit and credit analysis, merchandising businesses, inventory methods, and long term assets.
