WHISSL - Worldwide Health Information System Simulation Linkage

The Worldwide Health Information System Simulation Linkage (WHISSL, http://whissl.utmb.edu) is a mature educational resource sponsored by the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). The focus of WHISSL is developing patient cases with cultural components, and designing and testing web-based programming tools that anyone can use. WHISSL consists of over 30 simulated patient cases, many with supporting movies about the patients and their communities. Many of the cases deal with patients in other countries (Kuwait, Jamaica, Argentina, Pakistan) and from other cultures (Hispanic, African-American, Puerto Rican, Asian).
