After reading the article, I found it informative explaining each section of the
table of contents with the help of visual aids. I found it lengthy with alot of
information. Requires more than one reading. I was gald to see the the author
included a FAQ section.

If you are going to use this site you had better brush the rust off of you
calculus and series equations. It is and excellent site for someone in search
of a mathematical understanding of data compression.

Technical Remarks:

Very technical site it is not for the weak of heart or faint of courage.

Definitely not a site for the statistically challenged. This site exposes you to
Shannon's theory of data compression and makes it just as hard as it sounds to
understand. However its a necessary evil of the topic. The site is well laid out
and quite informative.

Technical Remarks:

Good use of links in the table of contents and throughout the site.

This site presents the theory of data compression and how it works. The site is
well laid out. Parts of the article are very technical - people looking for easy
reading be warned.
