Frontiers in Physiology

Frontiers in Physiology is a program of the American Physiological Society (APS), and is sponsored by APS, the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) and the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) at the National Institutes of Health. Previous support has been provided by the National Science Foundation. Frontiers has two major goals: to create ongoing relationships between research scientists and middle and high school teachers; and, to promote the adoption of the National Science Education Standards for K-12 science content and pedagogical techniques among middle and high school teachers.
