Semantic Technologies for Search and Online Media

This video was recorded at 4th European Semantic Technology Conference (ESTC), Vienna 2010. Yahoo! attracts hundreds of millions of users every month through its innovative technology and engaging content and services, making it one of the most trafficked Internet destinations and a world class online media company. In this talk, we discuss and illustrate some of the ways in which Yahoo employs semantic technologies to improve the user experience for both web search users and the visitors of its Internet sites.
