Twitter Sentiment in Financial Domain

This video was recorded at FIRST Industrial Workshop, Milano 2012. In this video, we give a short demo about extracting sentiment on financial objects, such as stocks, from Twitter posts. This presentation was given at the ABI Lab Forum in Milan (Mar 2012). This research is carried out in the context of the European project FIRST (Large scale information extraction and integration infrastructure for supporting financial decision making, FP7, Grant Agreement No. 257928) at the Department of Knowledge Technologies, Jozef Stefan Institute, most notably by Jasmina Smailovic, Martin Znidarsic, Peter Ljubic, Martin Saveski, and Miha Grcar.
