This video was recorded at Tyre and Road Surface Optimisation for Skid resistance and Further Effects (TYROSAFE) Workshops. TYROSAFE is a Coordination Action funded by the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement no. 217920. The TYROSAFE project began on the 1st of July 2008. The main objectives of the project are to raise awareness, to coordinate and prepare for European harmonisation and to optimise the assessment and management of essential tyre/road interaction parameters in order to increase safety and support greening of European road transport.
