Skills & Interests

    I have a preference for using literature as a means to teach culture, so my cultural teaching skills are stronger than my literary teaching skills. However, I have a strong background in literature, and am looking for interesting and effective ways to teach literature to students whose language skills are still in need of development.

    I teach Spanish language classes at the undergraduate level in college. I think I have lots of good ideas to share with others, but I am always willing to hear others' ideas to improve my own teaching.

    This is a topic that is very important to me. Although I don't get the chance to teach classes explicitly on this topic, I would be interested in learning about ways to include such content within my regular language and literature classes.
