This source reveals how the urban planning and design that are seen in cities are catered for able-bodied, heterosexual, and cisgender men, excluding people of color, people with disabilities, and women and girls. It reveals the historic exclusion of those categorized under gender and race minorities, in addition to those who are not able-bodied, and proposes ideas to renovate public spaces, and other environments through gender-inclusive urban planning and design. An example of some things in society that they plan on renovating to better suit all members of society are public transport, streetscapes, public spaces, energy/water resources, and sanitation/hygiene resources.

This article highlights the idea of Social Justice Education, and it is described as “providing tools to examine the structural features of oppression and our socialization within unjust systems.” By considering a social justice approach in education, it allows us to develop awareness of the injustices not only in society but personal lives, institutions, and communities. By implementing practices of inclusion, one develops empathy while becoming committed to breaking oppressive behaviors and patterns within our self and bringing that change to communities and institutions like schools. The article is geared toward educators so that they can build their student’s understanding of justice allowing them to develop skills to participate and contribute to a more diverse democracy.

This source/website really embodies woman empowerment, especially in STEM, in addition to teaching educators how to break the cycle of STEM majors and careers being male-driven. Upon opening the source, you are led to their home page that previews YouTube videos catered to women about self-protection and the importance of their dedication to STEM, and some testimonials from educators and students. However, they also have a blog section with empowering and educational articles, presentations, case studies, etc. They also have an online boot camp and resources to enroll in school or become facilitated in the STEM industry or education. They have instructional videos and articles for students, educators, and those interested in the field.

This source is wonderful for educators and I'd argue parents as well, as it acknowledges different disabilities both learning and genetic. They have a section on instructional strategies that divulge into techniques for teaching math and writing, teaching-learning strategies to students, assessments, reading and language skills, all of which are beneficial for both parents and educators to learn. In addition to teaching educators how to teach those students with disabilities, it also teaches them how to guide their students into accepting their pace of learning and disabilities that may interrupt their physical capabilities or learning process.

This website is specifically catered to educators as it is an insight into inclusive teaching and when performed correctly it is most effective for both the educator and the student. It enhances those students with disabilities and those cross-cultural students’ academic experience based on their relationships and the exchange of dialogue between peers, educators, and parents. More specifically it is catered for those educators in the area of STEM so that they provide their students a sense of belonging through pedagogical practices that improve self-efficacy. It provides educators with techniques to create a classroom climate that is inclusive to its students who have psychological barriers and it allows them to adapt techniques themselves to self-navigate, being participants of Stem.

This source is a compilation of different resources for educators who are looking to introduce inclusive teaching in their classroom environment. The website is composed of resources in addition to consultations and programs for teachers to access so that they adapt the most effective techniques in creating a learning environment in which students of all backgrounds and capabilities can flourish. One of my favorites that I explored is “Setting the Tone for Inclusion”, which includes practices that intentionally establish an inclusive learning classroom environment in all areas of teaching. Another resourceful site listed was “Principles, Strategies, and Resources for Equity Focused Training” which was another document that analyzes inclusive teaching through 5 dimensions while listing specific strategies. It allows teachers to reflect upon their practices and implement new ones so that they create the most beneficial learning experiences for all their students.
