Two Harvard engineering students developed an ultimate bicycle helmet with brake lights and turn signals to help cyclists stay safe and visible on the road. They have also added a veteran executive with over 20 years of experience in the helmet industry. He is also an expert in the materials used in helmet manufacture and has been intimately involved in the both the development and manufacturing of dozens of helmet models over the years. A Kickstarter project (2015) Their hope is that Lumos makes it easier for cyclists to stay safe while still keeping that sense of freedom that comes with riding their bike.
