Lawrence Hall of Science (LHS)

A science museum and research center at the University of California, Berkeley, dedicated increasing public understanding and enjoyment of science, and to improving pre-college science and mathematics education. Includes teacher education, exhibits, public programs, programs for schools, publications, and a museum store. Designed as a memorial to Ernest O. Lawrence, the inventor of the cyclotron and the University's first Nobel Prize winner (1939).
