Vibrations Classroom Activity

In this lesson from Math Machines, students will determine the period of a vibrating object, predict the period of vibration for a different object and match the motion of a rotating object to the vibrating object. The exercise consists of two parts, which are outlined step by step in a participant handout. The handout is available to download in Microsoft Word doc file format, and includes student worksheets. A link to a required calculator program is also provided.
