PhyloStrat is an interactive simulation program that contains a few related activities. Using lizards as a model, PhyloStrat lets the user explore what happens when species are independently designed versus evolved by descent with modification. This webpage contains applications for both Mac and Windows systems, as well as a tutorial (pdf version) to guide the user through the simulations.
