Serves as the Marine Science Section of the Hawaii Science Teachers Association and as the Pacific regional chapter of the National Marine Educators Association. Shares information on marine and aquatic science education and issues in the Pacific, provides opportunities for educators to share experiences and expertise, encourages professional growth through workshops, conferences and in-service opportunities.
