MERLOT CHILE , born on the eve of CIEDU (Center for Innovation in Education of the Technological University of Chile, INACAP), is the first Spanish speaking community of MERLOT ( www.merlot.org ) (Multimedia Educational Resources for Learning and Online Teaching) , Which seeks to promote and contribute to the development of an avant-garde collection of online learning materials, selected and classified by the members of the MERLOT community.

The vision of MERLOT is to be an online community, open to collaboration and cooperation among its members, where teachers and students from all countries can share their resources and methodological learning.

The goal of MERLOT CHILE (Merlot's only partner Spanish speaking member) is to improve the effectiveness of teaching-learning processes by increasing the quantity, variety and quality of Spanish learning resources available online.

MerlotChile focuses its efforts on incorporating these learning resources into the classroom.
