Welcome to this unit everyone. The aim is to offer an introduction to Open Educational Resources (OERs); what they are, where to find them and what you might do with them and also an introduction to using OpenLearn Works as a source of OERs, a collection of tools to develop OERs and a site to host OERs developed from scratch or remixed from resources already available here.

Some of the links below go to pages where examples are available, for example sites to find OERs and tools to use. There is a wiki to use and links to tools for tasks such as screencasting or screengrabbing.

Finally; add ideas to the wiki so that we can grow this resource - and you'll have participated in constructing an OER.
