Transparency in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (TILT Higher Ed)
TILT Higher Ed is an award-winning national educational development and research project that helps instructors develop and implement a transparent teaching framework that promotes college student success.
The website provides ways to participate in the project as well as support materials, including the ability for students to take the pre- and end-of-term surveys with a confidential report sent to participant instructors. IRB documentation is included and there is a list of links to articles and presentations based on project research.
What distinguishes this site is the plethora of supporting materials for instructors. There are materials on design, gathering feedback on drafts, strategies for implementation, and examples of more and less transparent assignments in diverse disciplines.
