The Allen Brain Atlas is the most comprehensive and detailed map of the human brain to date, combining neuroimaging and tissue staining to show everything in a unprecented level of resolution from broad-scale structures to cellular-level detail. It is an Open Access/Open Data Portal for brain research studies worldwide, intergrating anatomic and genomic information and data along with useful data tools such as "Brainscope" for data visualizations. It also includes, the Allen Mouse Brain Atlas, which shows a full-color, high resolution anatomic reference atlas accompanied by a systematic hierarchically organized taxonomy of mouse brain structures.
