The purpose of the Pathology of Drug Abuse module is to assist the learner to associate graphic gross and microanatomy slides with the substance abuse.  This site includes graphics and description for pathology associated with:

• Smoking
• Alcoholism
• IV drug abuse
• Oxydodone abuse
• Cocaine abuse
• Methamphetamine
• GHB
• Ecstasy
• Anabolic-androgenis steroids

The learning resource includes references.  It was developed by Florida State University College of Medicine.  This site differs from other pathology sites in the way that it gives pertinent descriptions on how substance abuse affects the body.
